FinSight Business Advisory was founded by Ali Shahbazi in July 2026 in London, United Kingdom. It is developing research-led approaches to finance, business strategy, analytics and artificial intelligence.
Ali combines experience in accounting and head-office financial affairs with postgraduate business education and work in applied machine learning and financial AI research.
He holds an MBA from Middlesex University, completed in January 2026, and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Islamic Azad University. His MBA capstone examined AI-driven bankruptcy prediction and customer relationship sustainability.
From August 2019 to January 2025, Ali worked as a Tax & Contracts Specialist in Head Office Financial Affairs at Omid Entrepreneurship Fund. His responsibilities included contracts, provincial financial operations, taxation and financial reporting. Earlier work included accounting at Mr. Zaban Scientific and Cultural Institute.
Ali contributed to the AI/ML and data workstream of the HokPa Hip wearable fall-detection project at Sazeh Teb Parla from October 2020 to September 2024. The main development period ran to May 2022, followed by more limited technical support. This work involved sensor-data processing, feature engineering, model evaluation and adaptation for embedded hardware.
Ali is the first and corresponding author of three published AI/ML research papers, with three further manuscripts currently under review. His research addresses financial prediction, banking engagement and related applications of machine learning.
